West Ham United beat Fulham 3-1 on Friday evening.

West Ham United picked up a win on Friday night, beating Fulham 3-1 at the London Stadium as Issa Diop starred.
The Hammers were back in action after an extended break, in which Manuel Pellegrini had taken his side away to Spain for a training camp.
It didn’t appear to have helped early on as Fulham looked rampant, with Ryan Babel opening the scoring from a Ryan Sessegnon cross.
West Ham had to wake up and did so through a controversial goal, with Javier Hernandez seemingly handballing an equaliser into the net from an Angelo Ogbonna flick-on.
Pellegrini’s side kicked on from there with Issa Diop heading home a Robert Snodgrass corner, though West Ham lulled noticeably in the second half.

They did snatch another goal late on though as Marko Arnautovic set up Michail Antonio, sealing a 3-1 victory for the Hammers, leaving David Gold to react on Twitter.
The West Ham co-owner praised defender Diop for an ‘outstanding’ performance, with the French defender bagging his second goal for the club whilst helping to shackle Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.
