West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has taken to Twitter in order to send a message to supporters after Saturday’s defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
The Hammers were beaten 4-2 at home by Watford last weekend, and fans were hoping to see a major response from Slaven Bilic’s men as they travelled to The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.

However, what they got was arguably worse; first half goals from Nacer Chadli, Salomon Rondon and James McClean had put West Brom 3-0 up, and Chadli’s second made it 4-0 shortly after half time.
Michail Antonio and Manuel Lanzini did pull goals back for West Ham, but they were ultimately left to deal with a second 4-2 defeat in a row, with manager Slaven Bilic coming under increasing pressure after a slow start to the season.

With just one win in the first five Premier League games of the season, West Ham have struggled to continue last season’s success, and fans are understandably unhappy with recent results.
After the game, co-chairman David Gold took to Twitter in order to send a message to supporters and attempt to ease some of the concerns surrounding the club.

Gold admitted that things aren’t good right now for the club, but urged everybody to stay strong, and took solace from the fact that West Ham didn’t suffer any more injuries against West Brom.
Gold added that five players will be back from long-term injuries soon, suggesting that things will turn around for West Ham eventually.
