The West Ham United goalkeeper has been honoured by the club’s owner.

West Ham United co-owner David Gold has paid tribute to Lukasz Fabianski on Twitter.
The West Ham goalkeeper has had a stunning first season in East London since joining in a £7 million move [talkSPORT].
The former Arsenal star was named as the Irons’ Player of the Year earlier this week, beating the likes of Declan Rice and Felipe Anderson to the gong.
In terms of consistency, Fabianski was the stand-out choice, and here’s what Gold said about his stopper on Twitter.
Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini spent a lot of money and a lot of signings last summer, but you could argue that Fabianski was the pick of the bunch.
For £7 million, the Poland international is proving an absolute steal. Better yet, he is only 34 and therefore has a few years left in the tank before West Ham will have to think about replacing him.
It wasn’t an easy route to this level of respect for Fabianski, who was nicknamed Flappyhandski at Arsenal due to his habit for making horrendous errors.
