West Ham United won against Cheltenham Town in the EFL Cup on Wednesday evening.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has taken to social networking site Twitter to share his admiration of youngster Declan Rice.
Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a midfielder, has been playing well for West Ham this season.
The 18-year-old featured for the Hammers in their EFL Cup second-round tie against Cheltenham Town away from home at the LCI Rail Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The Republic of Ireland Under-19 international started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Slaven Bilic’s side won 2-0.
West Ham co-chairman Gold has praised the youngster on Twitter, and has said that the teenager is making great progress.
Gold has also praised West Ham central defender James Collins, who played well against Cheltenham.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the LCI Rail Stadium on Wednesday evening, hosts Cheltenham had 34% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors West Ham had 66% of the possession, took 12 shots of which four were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.
