The West Ham United midfielder has experienced a difficult campaign with injuries this season.

West Ham co-owner David Gold took to Twitter over the weekend, responding to comments made by Manuel Pellegrini on Jack Wilshere.
The 27-year-old joined the Hammers from Arsenal on a free transfer last summer, but he has failed to impress in east London, making just eight appearances in all competitions for Pellegrini’s side.
Wilshere has once again really struggled with injuries, but when the Englishman has played, he has shown glimpses of his undeniable quality.
Pellegrini spoke to reporters last week about the midfielder’s class, suggesting that he will make a big difference to his team next season, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“We hope that he can play a full season and of course that will improve our team. I know this because I see him In training every day”
And David Gold took to Twitter, suggesting that the Chilean makes no secret of his admiration for the West Ham star:
Wilshere certainly has the talent, but it remains to be seen whether he can play an entire season without suffering any injuries.
The Englishman could prove to be a key player for West Ham next term, but Hammers fans can be forgiven for thinking that that is nothing more than a pipe dream at the moment.
