West Ham United will return to action this weekend. In a few hours’ time, the Hammers will take on Hull City away from home at the KCOM Stadium in the Premier League.

Slaven Bilic’s side will head into the match against Hull on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Leicester City away from home at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have lost their last three league games and find themselves outside the top 10 in the league table at the moment.

West Ham will be without three key players. Pedro Obiang is out with an ankle injury, while Winston Reid and Michail Antonio have hamstring problems.

It is not going to be easy for the visiting team to win against Hull without the trio, but West Ham co-chairman David Gold has found a positive.

“Obviously it’s a blow to have lost Pedro Obiang, Winston Reid and Michail Antonio to injury but, on the bright side, it gives other players the chance to stake a claim for the shirt,” Gold wrote on West Ham’s official website.

“And you could argue that some fresh faces coming in, eager to grab their chance and perform well, is something that will give us a lift.”

West Ham have a better team than Hull, and they should be confident of picking up at least a point at the KCOM Stadium this afternoon.

The Tigers, though, are fighting for their Premier League status, and they are going to make it very tough for the Hammers.
