Former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United star David Ginola said on the Monday Night Football show on Sky Sports Main Event on Monday evening (7:52pm, November 26, 2018) that Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold can become one of the best players in the world.

Ginola was impressed with the free-kick goal that Alexander-Arnold scored during Liverpool’s 3-0 win against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League at the weekend.

The 20-year-old England international right-back found the net with a stunning effort in the 76th minute.

Former Newcastle and Spurs say Ginola, who ended his professional club football career at Liverpool’s Merseyside rival Everton, has spoken highly of Alexander-Arnold.

Ginola said about Alexander-Arnold on the Monday Night Football show on Sky Sports Main Event on Monday evening (7:52pm, November 26, 2018): “I like this player. He has got everything. He has got everything to be one of the best.”

Promising talent

Alexander-Arnold is one of the best young right-backs in Europe, and the performances of the Liverpool defender so far this season have been very good.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a key figure in manager Jurgen Klopp’s side, and is good both defensively and while going on the attack.

The England international can certainly become of the best right-backs in the world if he continues to progress as he has done for the past two or so years.
