Dele Alli hasn’t been at his best for large spells with Tottenham Hotspur this season.

David Ginola has told the Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT, broadcast on November 29, that not only does under-fire Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli badly need to be consistent, but the youngster also does not dictate the game enough for his liking.
Tottenham have picked up just one point from their last three games and Alli has come in for plenty of criticism during Spurs’ barren Premier League run following a series of anonymous outings.

At 21, Alli remains arguably the most impressive young player in Europe at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped fans of the North London club from questioning whether manager Mauricio Pochettino should drop him until he improves.
The England international managed four goals in as many games back in late October and early November, but hasn’t found the net in any of his last four matches.

And former Tottenham winger Ginola feels that in addition to his inconsistency, Alli does not leave his mark on the game as much as he would like.
“We know how capable he is to play good football. He’s a very talented player but he needs to be more consistent and needs to be more in charge of the game,” he told the Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT, broadcast on November 29.
Dropping him for Saturday’s trip would be seen as a major statement by Pochettino, though it wouldn’t be clear whether it was because of his form or simple rotation, having dropped the brilliant Christian Eriksen for the loss at Leicester yesterday.
