David Beckham has sent a message to Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on Instagram for his goal for England against Iran at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Manchester United forward Rashford came on as a substitute and helped England to a 6-2 victory over Iran in their opening Group B match on Monday.
The 25-year-old forward scored in the 71st minute.
And former United and England international star Beckham was impressed.

Encouraging
Marcus Rashford has not exactly been in great form consistently for the past couple of years, and it is clear that he is not going to start for England at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
However, as he showed against Iran on MOnday, the 25-year-old can make an impact after coming on as a substitute.
Rashford has started to play well for United under manager Erik ten Hag and is looking more confident now.
Yes, it was only Iran, but we have to praise Rashford for the way he took his goal just moments after coming on.
It was also Rashford’s first ever goal in a major international tournament.
If England are to win the 2022 Qatar World Cup, then players like Rashford will have to chip in with goals and important contributions.
