David Beckham has sent a heartfelt message from his Instagram story to Tottenham striker, Harry Kane, and his wife, Kate.
The Spurs academy product will become the first man since Bobby Moore in 1966 to lead England out for a major tournament final.
The Three Lions, led by Tottenham’s fearsome number nine, will be hoping to guide his country to Euro 2020 glory against Italy at Wembley tonight.
Ahead of that game, Beckham sent this 21-word message from his Instagram story to Kane and his wife.
“What a proud moment for the Kane family today,” said Beckham, as he added his caption with a picture of Harry and Kate when they were young kids.
“Incredible journey and creating history. Plus lifting our country. Lead us, captain.”

This could become one of the most historic days in Kane’s career, as he and his teammates aim to end 55-years of hurt.
Not only will he be leading England out at Wembley, but he can also become the highest goalscorer for his country at major tournaments.
If he bags a goal, or a few tonight, then he will surpass, Gary Lineker, as England’s highest goal-getter at major tournaments.
And if Kane achieves both, including England winning, then it will go down as the greatest night of his career, no doubt.
