Tottenham Hotspur have really impressed in the Premier League this season.

Global superstar, and former England international David Beckham spoke to reporters at the the PFA awards on Sunday night, and highlighted the bright future that lies ahead of Spurs, what with so many young England internationals currently amongst their ranks, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The Tottenham first XI currently forms the backbone of the Three Lions team, with Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker all regular starters for the national side.
And Beckham, who is a self confessed Spurs fan, told reporters how the amount of talented English players currently plying their trade at White Hart Lane should directly correlate to success in the future, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
“Dele Alli is an exceptional young player, when you see Dele you see a certain arrogance he plays with, and that’s a positive thing because he’s not an arrogant person, he’s a great guy and to see the way he plays on the field, you have to have that arrogance, big players have that. When you have someone like that playing for England, when you’ve got Harry playing for England, when you’ve got Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and you see these guys coming through, that’s exciting.”

The Lilywhites currently sit in second position in the Premier League table, four points adrift of league leaders Chelsea.
Whilst they do have every chance of overhauling the Blues, there is a general feeling that this season could be a year too early for this group of players, and another year’s experience of being deeply entrenched in a fight for the title is exactly what they need to make progression as a team.
This summer will be a vitally important one for Mauricio Pochettino, in the sense that he absolutely must keep hold of his best players, but with the likes of Walker and Rose already being linked with big money moves away from the club (Guardian), it seems like the Argentine will have his work cut-out in that aspect.
