Goss is a talented young player and has arrived at Rangers with a strong reputation. Rangers have been busy in the January transfer window, with Greame Murty looking to add more players to his ranks before the window ends.

“Sean has come in, Jamie Murphy, Andy, Michael O’Halloran coming back on loan. The squad has got fresh legs in it now,” said Bates, as quoted by the Evening Times.

“You could see [on Saturday] that Sean’s left foot is brilliant. He plays the ball out very well.

“That’s what the gaffer wants us to do and he’s a really good player for that.”
