Rangers were linked with a number of wingers over the summer, but Kemar Roofe has ended up becoming a major threat on the right flank.
The Gers seemingly needed pace out wide even after adding the creative Ianis Hagi permanently, and one very interesting name was suggested.
Kick GH reported in July that Rangers were set to open talks over a deal to sign Nordsjaelland attacker Isaac Atanga, having expressed an interest.
Norsdjaelland wanted up to €9million (£8million) for Atanga after seven goals and four assists last season, but no deal was done with the Gers.
So how is Atanga getting on so far this season? Well, the 20-year-old hasn’t quite been at his best so far this term.
Atanga has managed just one goal in nine league outings this season, twice featuring as a substitute in what has been a tricky campaign.

Atanga has now gone seven league games without a goal, a drought which he endured just once last season, which may be of concern to the winger.
The Ghanaian is rapid and very talented, so he will surely be back to his best soon – but Rangers are likely glad they didn’t pay £8million for him right now.
