Following his first season in the Saudi Pro League, Cristiano Ronaldo is set to rejoin the Al-Nassr squad for their training camp in Portugal.
Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in January after Manchester United terminated his contract last November. After joining, Ronaldo scored 14 goals in 19 games for the Saudi Pro League side.
However his addition wasn’t enough, as his new team only managed to finish second, behind Ittihad Club.

Al-Nassr have however looked active in the transfer market this summer. They beat Barcelona to the signature of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic in a £15.3million deal.
In addition a deal for Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech is being explored with the Moroccan failing a medical however the interest remains strong.
Additionally new boss Luis Castro has arrived from Botafogo where he averaged 1.7 points per game.
Castro is Portuguese making him the perfect manager to get the best out of Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s return date is set
Preparations are now heating up as the new Saudi League season fast approaches and Ronaldo’s return date has been revealed.
According to SSC Sports, Ronaldo is scheduled to join the Al-Nassr team camp next week in Portugal for their preseason. The club traveled to Portugal on July 3rd, but Ronaldo with special privileges will join next week.
The 38-year-old will be keen to rectify his wrongs from last season and help Al-Nassr to the league title.
He will face competition however from the reigning champions who have acquired French duo Karim Benzema and Ngolo Kante on free transfers. Along with spending £24.8m on Jota from Celtic.
