Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool beat Nuno’s Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Liverpool headed into the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest as favourites. After all, Jurgen Klopp’s side are aiming to win the league title, while Nuno’s team are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship.
Forest, though, put up a fight and were perhaps unlucky not to get even a point from the match. Darwin Nunez scored the only goal of the game in the final minutes of injury time.
Darwin Nunez not impressed with Cody Gakpo during Liverpool win vs Nottingham Forest
Nunez did not start the match. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp brought the Uruguay international striker on for Andy Robertson on the hour mark.
According to BBC Sport, there was one occasion when Nunez was not happy with his Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo.

Gakpo started the match for the Reds. The £35 million (The Guardian) player was deployed down the middle in attack in a 4-3-3 formation.
Deep into second half, Gakpo went for goal himself instead of passing the ball to Nunez or Harvey Elliott when they were in a better position.
BBC Sport noted: “So wasteful! Darwin Nunez sends Cody Gakpo away but, with Nunez and Harvey Elliott free inside the penalty area, Gakpo goes for glory. Nunez is not impressed.”
Big win for Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest
Liverpool left it late against Nottingham Forest, but Jurgen Klopp’s side will be more than happy with the final result.
Darwin Nunez has scored important goals for Liverpool this season, and the striker did it again against Forest.
With Manchester City and Arsenal winning matches regularly and playing well at the moment, Liverpool simply could not afford to slip up against Forest at the City Ground.
It was not a great performance from Liverpool, but I suspect that the Merseyside club’s fans will not care.
