Darren O’Dea is returning to Celtic as a coach after leaving Motherwell.
Darren O’Dea has taken to Twitter to express his delight at returning to Celtic.
Celtic have announced on their official Twitter page that O’Dea has been appointed as the Glasgow giants’ Under-18 manager.
The 32-year-old former Republic of Ireland international defender started his professional club football career at the Hoops and played for them until 2012.
The former Dundee man was working as the Motherwell Under-18 manager, and he has decided to leave his role there and move back to Celtic Park.
O’Dea has taken to Twitter to bid farewell to Motherwell and is delighted to have made the move to Celtic.
Motherwell CEO Alan Burrows has give his take on O’Dea’s decision on Twitter, and while he is disappointed that he is leaving, he has wished the former defender the best of luck at Celtic.

The Hoops have won the league title in Scotland for the past eight years, and they are favourites to clinch it again this season.
