West Brom caretaker boss Darren Moore spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s 1-1 draw with Swansea City on Saturday, and shared the message that he gave his players after the full-time whistle, as quoted by the Express & Star.

The Baggies have been nothing short of woeful this term, and sit firmly rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table, 10 points adrift of safety, having won just three league games all season long.

Alan Pardew lost his job at the Hawthorns last week, and Moore’s appointment as caretaker boss seems to have galvanised the West Brom players, as they head into the final stretch of their campaign.

The 43-year-old addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought draw against the Swans, and shared what he told his players after the game, as quoted by the Express & Star:

“We’ve managed to stop the rot today. My message to everybody at West Brom was well done, enjoy this one because we’ve stopped the rot, but let’s make it the platform to build something more positive going forward.”

The Baggies could actually have their relegation confirmed next weekend, if they lose to Manchester United and results elsewhere fail to go their way.

With Moore now at the helm, though, there is at least a slightly more positive feeling emanating from the West Brom camp.
