West Bromwich Albion have struggled when playing at home this season.
West Brom boss Darren Moore spoke to reporters after his side’s 1-0 home defeat to Sheffield United on Saturday, and admitted that he is tempted to mix things up for their next game at the Hawthorns, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
The Baggies’ defeat to the Blades would have been a difficult one to swallow for Moore, his players and the club’s fans, and they now sit in fourth spot in the table, four points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
West Brom have been mightily impressive on the whole this season, but they have had more joy away from home, with 10 of their 17 wins coming on the road.
And Moore shared how he might have to make some changes, both to the personal and system when his side next play at the Hawthorns, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:
“It’s a possibility, but in order to do that we need time to work and because of the relentless schedule this month, it’s been impossible for us to work on anything like that. We could also look at personnel in certain positions, to try and break and unlock the opposition. We’ll look at it for the future games here at home.”
West Brom travel to Leeds United at the weekend, before they face back-to-back home games against Ipswich Town and Swansea City, and it will be interesting to see how Moore’s men set up for all three of those matches.
