West Bromwich Albion have some real experience amongst their squad.

West Brom boss Darren Moore spoke to reporters about the strength-in-depth of his current squad at the Hawthorns, and highlighted how important two of his fringe players – Gareth Barry and Hal Robson-Kanu, are to his side, as quoted by the Express & Star.

The Baggies endued a miserable Premier League campaign last season, but they are being heavily tipped for promotion back to the top flight this term, due to the size and quality of the squad at Moore’s disposal.

West Brom have made a decent, if not spectacular, start to life in the Championship, taking 11 points from their opening seven league outings, and they currently sit in eighth spot in the table.

Moore has some real experienced quality to call upon when needed, and he offered high words of praise for Gareth Barry and Hal Robson-Kanu, highlighting how the duo bring more composure to his Baggies side, as quoted by the Express & Star:

Gareth Barry (R) and Hal Robson-Kanu during the Premier League match between Everton and West Bromwich Albion at the Goodison Park on March 11, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

“I thought when Gareth [Barry] came on, he and Hal [Robson-Kanu] brought more composure to the team.”

Next up for West Brom is a home game against Bristol City in the Championship tomorrow night, and Moore will surely be tempted to start the experienced duo for the clash with the Robins.
