West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a move for the free agent.

West Brom boss Darren Moore spoke to the media yesterday, ahead of his side’s clash with Birmingham City at St Andrews tonight, and responded when asked whether he is interested in signing Bakary Sako on a free transfer, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
The Baggies have made a decent start to their Championship campaign, taking 10 points from their opening six league outings, but it could be argued that Moore’s squad is still a touch light in the attacking department.
With the transfer window now closed, though, West Brom can only sign free agents.
One such player who has been linked with the Baggies is Bakary Sako, and Moore responded to reporters when asked whether he is interested in bringing the 30-year-old forward to the Hawthorns, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

“Bakary [Sako] is a good player who’s out there. We’ve been linked with some free transfer players, those we have been linked with are good players. Like any head coach, if we can strengthen in any position, with players that will give the team an extra dimension, we’ll be interested.”
Sako can play anywhere along the front-line, and he would undoubtedly bring more pace to West Brom’s play in the final third.
His availability on a free makes a move for him a no-brainer for the Baggies, and Moore should not hesitate to bring him to the club.
