West Bromwich Albion are expected to earn promotion back to the Premier League this season.

West Brom boss Darren Moore sat down for an exclusive interview with the Express & Star, and hinted that he will be targeting players with big character and team ethic this summer.
The Baggies endured a woeful Premier League campaign last season – one that culminated in their relegation down to the Championship, but they did experience a brief renaissance under the guidance of Moore during the last six games of the season.

The 44-year-old’s performance in charge of West Brom impressed the club’s owners so much so that they offered him a permanent deal in charge at the Hawthorns.
Baggies fans are expecting a more fruitful campaign this season, and it would be no surprise to see them bounce straight back up with Moore at the helm.
The West Brom chief spoke exclusively to the Express & Star, and opened up about how he plans to bring some real characters into the club this summer, in the hope of guiding his side back to the promised land:

“I am looking forward to identifying individuals. And I am really lucky that after my years in the game I know a lot of people and have a lot of contacts. Without doubt they will have exceptional ability but the characteristics are really important. Albion have been stung recently by marquee signings who have arrived on inflated wage packets but failed to live up to the hype. The individual is important but it’s about the team and not isolating individuals. Composure is needed on and off the pitch.”
The Baggies aren’t exactly the richest club in the division, but the parachute payments that they will receive from the Premier League should ensure that they can spend an adequate amount on acquiring exactly the kind of talent that they need to gain promotion this term.
