The West Bromwich Albion ace returned to action on Tuesday night.

West Brom boss Darren Moore spoke to reporters after his side’s thrilling 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday night, and admitted that he is delighted to have Matt Phillips back and available for selection, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
The 27-year-old returned for the Baggies on Tuesday night, playing 10 minutes at Loftus Road, having been out since January 1st with a serious ankle injury.
West Brom have actually done fairly well during Phillips’ absence, but that is not to say that the winger isn’t a vitally important player for Moore’s side.
The Baggies boss address the media on Tuesday night, and could not hide his delight at the fact that he now has the Scotland international available for selection once again, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

“I’m delighted to have Matty back. That will do him the world of good. We know what he gives us so to have him in and around the squad is really pleasing so hopefully he’ll get stronger.”
West Brom currently sit in fourth spot in the Championship table, just one point adrift of the automatic promotion places, and having someone with Phillips’ quality back and available for the run-in will be a huge boost for the Black Country outfit.
