Leeds United won both of their encounters against Derby County during the regular season.

Darren Moore has warned Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa that he is going to find it ‘very difficult’ to pick his team up from recent results as they head into the playoffs.
The Yorkshire outfit will take on Frank Lampard’s Derby County over two legs, starting with the opening fixture this Saturday evening at Pride Park.
During the regular Championship season, Leeds won both encounters against the Rams, with the second fixture marred by the Spygate scandal.
Speaking on EFL Special on Sky Sports News (06/05/2019 at 12:05 pm), former West Brom manager Moore spoke about Leeds’ current situation as they head into the dreaded playoffs.
On Bielsa trying to pick up Leeds mentally: “Very difficult because I think it was a couple of weeks ago mentally the game that did Leeds was losing against Wigan,” Moore told Sky Sports News. “And they have seemed to have stuttered in terms of that.
“We saw the winning goal against Ipswich, there is some indecision with the goalkeeper and defender, which is not been renowned with Leeds over the course of the season. What they have got to do quickly is forget about what has gone on. Re-focus now for these playoffs and it’s all about this next game which is against Derby.
“I remember on the day, Leeds absolutely ran all over Derby and were just too strong and too powerful. The quickness of speed of play. Frank will be well aware of that in terms of both games he has played against them this season.”

Form does go out of the window during these types of fixtures, but Leeds’ recent performances will be very worrying for the Elland Road faithful.
On the last day of the regular season, they suffered a 3-2 defeat at already-relegated Ipswich Town, who were reduced to 10 men during the second half.
What was more worrying was that Bielsa played his strongest team against a side that is sitting bottom of the Championship table and heading into League One.
