Former Premier League star Darren Huckerby has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Manchester City-owned Norwich City goalkeeper Angus Gunn has a massive future.

Gunn joined Championship club Norwich on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club City in the summer of 2017.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper has been in brilliant form this season, and Huckerby, who played for both the Canaries and the Citizens in his career, has been impressed.

Encouraging for Celtic fans

According to The Sun, Celtic are interested in signing Gunn from City in the summer transfer window.

Stoke City are also claimed to be interested in the English goalkeeper, while Norwich reportedly want to secure him back on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.

Huckerby’s comments on Gunn show just good the youngster is, and Celtic fans should be encouraged by them.

The 22-year-old is one of the best and probably underrated goalkeepers in the Championship in England, and if Celtic do sign him in the summer transfer window, then the Celtic Park faithful should rest assured that they will be watching a very promising and talented young player.
