One former Leeds player responds to another.

Former Leeds United forward Darren Huckerby has responded to ex-teammate Ian Harte’s criticism of the academy.
Harte hit out at Leeds after watching their under-23 side draw 2-2 with Birmingham City.
The academy has undergone an overhaul since Andrea Radrizzani took over ownership of the club and Harte, who is now an agent representing Leeds left-back Tyler Denton among others, feels Carlos Corberan’s under-23 side is too foreign.
Former Leeds forward Huckerby responded to Harte – pointing out the dialect issues the Irishman and his teammates caused back in their heyday.
Harte’s comments through positive intentions although Leeds United are unlikely to change their policy.
For all the ‘foreign faces’, Leeds’ equalising goal against Birmingham was scored by young English striker Sam Dalby, recently signed from Leyton Orient, while Dutchman Pascal Struijk netted the other, showing the positive effect a foreign player can have on the team.
