Rangers winger Glenn Middleton has been playing well for Steven Gerrard’s side in recent weeks and has established himself as an important player for the Ibrox club.
Middleton, who joined Rangers in January 2018 from Norwich City in the Championship in England, played an important role in the Gers’ 3-0 win against Livingston at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
The Scotland Under-21 international winger scored in the Gers’ 7-1 home win against Motherwell in the league before the international break.
The 18-year-old was also on target in Rangers’ 4-3 defeat to Spartak Moscow away from home in Russia in the Europa League earlier this month.
The former Norwich prospect has scored two goals and provided two assists in seven Scottish Premiership appearances, and has scored one goal and provided one assist in four Europa League matches for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Former Norwich star Darren Huckerby worked as an academy coach at the Canaries when Middleton was at the club, and he is impressed with the Rangers youngster’s performances for the Gers in his last three games.
