Leeds United lost in the Championship on Tuesday.

Darren Huckerby has suggested on social networking site Twitter that it was strange of Leeds United to appoint Paul Heckingbottom as the head coach.
Huckerby made the comment following Leeds’s 3-1 defeat to Preston North End away from home at Deepdale in the Championship on Tuesday evening.
The defeat means that the Whites’ disappointing run of form continues under Heckingbottom, who was appointed in the role in February 2018 following the departure of Thomas Christiansen.

The 40-year-old was in charge of Barnsley at the time, and Leeds had to pay their Championship rivals £500,000 for him – his release clause, according to BBC Sport.
Leeds were in the running for the Championship playoffs at the time, but the Whites are now as low as 14th in the standings and are struggling to play well or get positive results at the moment.
Former Leeds star Huckerby, who was on the books of the Elland Road outfit from the summer of 1999 until December 2000, has stated on Twitter that appointing Heckingbottom was a strange decision from the former Premier League club.
