Former Newcastle youngster criticises club owner.

Former player Darren Huckerby has joined the growing number of fans and pundits criticising Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley.
Ashley is under growing pressure after manager Rafa Benitez highlighted the club’s off field problems holding the team back after they lost last night’s friendly 4-0 to Braga, The Sun reported.
Huckerby used Twitter to hit out at the way Newcastle is being run.
He commented: “Got to feel sorry for Rafa and @NUFC fans, Ashley seems like he doesn’t give a sh*t!”
Huckerby signed with Newcastle back in 1995 as a youngster but had to leave in pursuit of regular football, signing with Coventry City a year later.
He went on to play for Leeds, Manchester City and Norwich before retiring in 2009.

Newcastle are among the Premier League’s lowest spenders this summer, with the money spent on Michael Owen in 2005 remaining the club’s record transfer fee.
The club still seem short of options up front and the transfer window will close in just one week’s time.
