The former Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion midfielder outlined the quality of Kilmarnock striker Brophy, who is reportedly on the radar of Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers and Leeds.
Rangers, Leeds United and Derby County interest
According to TEAMtalk, Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers want to secure the services of the 23-year-old striker this summer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds and Frank Lampard’s Derby in the Championship in England are also claimed to be interested in the former Hamilton Academical youngster.
According to BBC Sport, the 23-year-old scored 11 goals and provided two assists for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership during the 2018-19 season.
Former Stoke City striker Fletcher – who has played 80 times for Scotland, and won the Premier League title five times and the Champions League once with Manchester United – has raved about Brophy, and so has ex-Scotland assistant manager James McFadden.

Praise for Eamonn Brophy
Fletcher said about Brophy on Sky Sports Main Event (7:24pm, June 8, 2019): “He almost reminds me of Vardy. He never gives defenders a minute’s peace. He will chase them down, he will run channels, he is strong enough to hold up.”
McFadden said about Brophy on Sky Sports Main Event (7:24pm, June 8, 2019): “When he plays against Celtic and Rangers, he goes and he plays his normal game. I think he is a really relaxed and confident guy.”
