Darren Bent has said on talkSPORT (5:55pm, January 16, 2023) that he would take Tottenham Hotspur target Leandro Trossard at Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
The former Tottenham striker believes that Brighton and Hove Albion winger Trossard would be a good signing for Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Bent is an Arsenal fan.
The talkSPORT pundit has explained why he thinks that the 28-year-old Belgium international winger would make Arsenal better.
Interestingly, both Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with Trossard, who has scored seven goals and given two assists in 16 Premier League matches for the Seagulls so far this season.
The Athletic have reported that the 28-year-old winger has fallen out with Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi.
The 28-year-old’s agent wants the Seagulls to facilitate an exit for the winger this month.

Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal’s bitter North London rivals, have had a verbal offer of £12 million for Trossard turned down, according to the report.
TalkSPORT have reported that Arsenal are interested in Trossard, and so have 90min.
The Athletic journalist David Ornstein has said on NBC Sports that Arsenal could look to make a move for the winger after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea.

Bent said: “I would take Trossard. I know it doesn’t look like it has ended well and you don’t like to see that because he has been phenomenal, certainly this season.
“Seven goals in the Premier League, hat-trick against Liverpool. Good technique, Belgium international, you would take him at Arsenal.”
