Darren Bent says that Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is going to tear apart Leeds United on Sunday, as per his comments on the Kelly and Wrighty Show, which was broadcast by Optus Sport.

Arsenal take on Leeds in what looks to be one of the most appealing Premier League fixtures of the weekend.

The two sides have both struggled in recent weeks, but there is a feeling that the game should produce plenty of goals.

And Bent feels that Leeds willingness to go forward will leave them exposed to Aubameyang’s speed on the counter for Arsenal.

“I say 4-2 Arsenal, Leeds are over-expansive. Aubameyang hat-trick,” Bent predicted.

If Aubameyang is to bag a hat-trick against Leeds then his performance levels will need to improve significantly.

Aubameyang has really struggled in an Arsenal shirt this season, with his touches and shots both down significantly from last term.

Aubameyang was so impactful from out wide for Arsenal last season, but he has not looked at home in the role this time around, and there have been calls for Mikel Arteta to try him through the middle.

Whether the Spaniard will do so against Leeds remains to be seen, but the pressure is on Arsenal to pick up the three points, as they were battered 3-0 by Aston Villa in their last outing.
