Darren Bent suggested on talkSPORT (9:52am, September 14, 2020) that Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha would love to join Everton in the summer transfer window.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker believes that Zaha would have enjoyed watching Everton’s performance against Spurs at the weekend.

The Toffees got the better of Tottenham 1-0 away from home at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Zaha has been linked with a move to Everton in the summer transfer window, with The Sun (print edition, page 57, July 30, 2020) reporting that the Toffees want the former Manchester United winger, as covered by HITC Sport here.

The Daily Star reported in August that Palace would accept £50 million as transfer fee for the 27-year-old Ivory Coast international.

Bent said on talkSPORT (9:52am, September 14, 2020) about Zaha: “If he watched that performance the other night against Spurs, he is going to be thinking, ‘I wanna part of that. I wanna be part of that’.

“Ancelotti, the way they play, the attacking players, and I think he will help and make them better, Everton as well. So he will be looking at the situation and thinking, ‘I fancy a little bit of that’.”

Would Wilfried Zaha be a good signing for Everton?

Zaha is one of the best attack-minded players in the Premier League, and the 27-year-old would make Everton a better team.

The Palace star scores goals, creates chances, has pace, can dribble past players, and entertains the fans.

According to WhoScored, Zaha scored four goals and provided three assists in the Premier League last season, while in 2018-19, he scored 10 goals and provided five assists in the league.
