The former Tottenham Hotspur striker, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, believes that when the Wolves winger gets going, he is unstoppable.
However, Bent said that if he had to pick between Traore and Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha, then he would pick the latter.
The Englishman made the comments about Traore in the wake of speculation linking him with moves to Liverpool and Manchester City.
According to a report in The Mirror at the weekend, Liverpool and City are interested in Traore, with Wolves ready to sell him and hoping that the Reds and the Citizens make substantial bids.
Bent said on talkSPORT (4:40pm, August 23, 2020): “When I look at Traore, I mean, I look at him, and I think he is unstoppable. Once he gets going, I don’t think anyone can really stop him.”
The talkSPORT pundit added: “If you are asking me who I would rather have in my squad, I would probably lean towards Zaha as well.”
Good signing for Liverpool?
Traore is one of the better wingers in the Premier League, and the former Aston Villa man has improved a lot in recent years, adding goals to his game and becoming more of a threat in the final third.
While the 24-year-old would have to work hard to get manager Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup, there is no doubt that he would make the Reds’ squad stronger.
According to WhoScored, Traore scored four goals and provided nine assists in the Premier League, and scored two goals in 10 Europa League games for Wolves this past season.
