Leeds United were beaten 4-2 at Elland Road by Derby County last night.

Leeds were beaten 4-2 by Derby last night, as Frank Lampard’s change of tactics caused the Whites no end of problems.
Derby played in a more direct manner than usual, and Leeds couldn’t deal with their attacking threat.
Kiko Casilla in the Whites’ goal had particular difficulty in judging when to come off his line, and his erratic performance seemed to make his whole team nervous.
Derby ended up taking advantage, as they scored four times to knock Leeds out of the play offs.

And Bent said: “Tonight they went out with no fear. They got their tactics right and ran all over Leeds.
“Derby were the better side. What really surprised me were simply mistakes from Leeds. One simple, straight ball caused so many problems.”
Derby scored twice through Jack Marriott, with Mason Mount and Harry Wilson also getting on the scoresheet.
Leeds were left heartbroken at full-time, with some of their players in tears, but they just did not do enough over the two legs to progress.
Derby will now take on Aston Villa in the play-off final in two weekends’ time.
