Darren Bent has claimed that Dejan Kulusevski has the ability to ‘step up to that world level’ for Tottenham Hotspur, as he told DAZN.
The former striker was talking about the ‘quality’ in Antonio Conte’s squad and he bigged up Kulusevki alongside the usual Spurs duo of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Last season, all three played a very important role in the north London outfit beating their bitter rivals to the final Champions League spot, including Son winning the Golden Boot.

Whilst Arsenal decided to standstill during the January transfer window, their neighbours opted to bring in two new faces that proved to be game-changing.
Both Rodrigo Bentancur and Kulusevski arrived from Juventus, with the latter scoring five goals and supplying eight assists from his 18 Premier League matches.
And this season, he has two assists and one goal to his name, as Bent spoke about Tottenham’s squad depth.
“They have quality players in their squad,” said Bent. “They have players in their squad that can compete at the world level.
“When you have Son and Kane in your side, then that always gives you a chance. I feel a little bit disrespectful not mentioning Kulusevski, but he’s another one who can step up to that world level.”

RICHARLISON AND KULUSEVSKI BATTLE
If Kulusevski wants to step up to that world-class level, then he better get in line because summer signing Richarlison will be feeling the same way.
Conte opted to keep the former Everton man on the bench for the opening few weeks of the season (after serving his suspension), before handing the player back-to-back starts, including scoring a brace during Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Marseille in the Champions League last week.
Richarlison has hardly been in the building for long, but he is already a fan favourite and showcasing to Conte why he should remain in his XI.
But Kulusevski will still feel he is the main man on the right given what he has produced since joining in January. either way, it’s a battle that bodes well for Tottenham and their long-term plans to move forward.
