As the Premier League table suggests, Arsenal have undoubtedly been the best team in the country this season.
Going forward, the Gunners have been a joy to watch, with their electric front four of Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus only rivalled by Manchester City’s.
Defensively, Mikel Arteta’s side, who have been porous at the back for large periods during his time in charge have conceded the joint-least number of goals in the league this term alongside Newcastle United (11).
Beating the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool in deserved fashion whilst also digging deep to get over the line on several occasions, the North Londoners have shown all signs of being potential title winners.
However, a whole host of Arsenal fans have been apprehensive about making such bold claims, as they are sceptical about whether their side can sustain a title challenge till the end of the season.
One of them includes Darren Bent, who revealed by which point he will start to believe that this youthful collective can bring domestic glory back to the club for the first time since 2004.
“I would say, probably February, March time”, he said on talkSPORT.
Bent went on to say that he still reckons Pep Guardiola’s side will go on to retain the league title, saying, “But you look at Manchester City and they are the juggernaut. I still expect them to win the league because for me, they’re the best team.”

The former Spurs striker’s view remains the popular opinion, considering City have won four of the last five Premier League titles.
While most fans and pundits alike are coming around to the idea that Arsenal are in the title race, it is widely believed that the Sky Blues will eventually blitz past them in the business end of the season to become champions again.
