Darren Bent said that he would prefer to play under Rangers boss Steven Gerrard to working under Neil Lennon at Celtic.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa striker has stated that he got a phone call from Celtic manager Neil Lennon in the summer of 2019.
The call came following comments he made regarding Lennon and Rangers boss Steven Gerrard, saying that he would rather play for the latter than for the former.
The 35-year-old striker, who retired in the summer of 2019, has reflected on the phone call he got from Lennon following his remarks.
Bent said on Soccer AM: “I got a phone call and someone said, ‘Neil Lennon wants your phone number, do you mind?’
“I was like, ‘No,’ but even then I didn’t know what was coming. At first I’m thinking, I wonder if I’m going to get a move to Celtic, here. He just wanted me to clarify my comments.”
Steven Gerrard or Neil Lennon?
Lennon is a very experienced manager who has won league titles in Scotland with Celtic, and he can also improve players and get the best out of them.
Liverpool legend Gerrard is quite new in his managerial career, and it remains to be seen how well he does in the coming years.
Both Lennon and Gerrard are good managers, and one suspects it is all about individual preference under whom players would like to play.
