Both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have been linked with Yves Bissouma, but it is Antonio Conte’s Spurs and not Mikel Arteta’s Gunners who are about to sign the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder.
Tottenham beat Arsenal to Yves Bissouma signing
The Times have reported that Tottenham have agreed a £25 million deal with Premier League rivals Brighton over the transfer of Bissouma this summer.
The 25-year-old Mali international midfielder will reportedly sign a five-year contract and will undergo a medical on Thursday.
90min reported on May 24 that Arsenal have been in contact regarding Bissouma since the turn of the year, but the Gunners are now set to miss out on the Malian’s signature to bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
Darren Bent is a former Tottenham striker, and he is also an Arsenal fan.
The Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit believes that Bissouma would be a very good signing for Tottenham.
