Aston Villa snapped up the Spanish winger this week.

Darren Bent has told Sky Sports that although he likes Aston Villa’s signing of Jota, he doesn’t think the Spaniard scores enough goals.
Aston Villa announced their capture of the 27-year-old earlier this week.
The former Brentford winger joined the Villans from their cross-city rivals Birmingham, where he spent the last two seasons.
Jota was a mainstay for the Blues, playing 76 Championship games since joining – 61 of them being starts – but those appearances yielded only eight goals in total.
He netted 12 in 19 Championship starts for Brentford during the 2016-17 campaign, but his goalscoring form has tailed off in a major way and former Villa hitman Bent has doubts over whether he’ll be prolific in the Premier League.
He told Sky Sports: “I really like Jota, I played against him at Brentford and he impressed me. But to go from Birmingham to Villa, that’s a toughie.
“For me, he doesn’t score enough goals, but he always creates. He’s a real good signing for Aston Villa, I think they’ve got a good one there.”
As Bent pointed out, Jota does create a lot of chances and, with 16 assists over the past two seasons, that is what bought him his ticket to the Premier League with Villa.
It’ll be interesting to see how he adapt to top-flight football, but he is a mature, experienced player and no doubt Aston Villa’s Dean Smith will have kept that in mind when deciding to sign him.
