Darren Bent, now at Derby County, is a former Tottenham Hotspur player.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli is wanted by Jorge Mendes’s agency Gestifute.
Alli is one of the best young midfielders in the world, and the England international has made massive progress at Spurs since his move from Milton Keynes Dons.
The 21-year-old could develop into a world-class footballer in the coming years.
According to Sky Sports, Alli will switch agents his contract runs out with Rob Segal and his company Impact Sports next year.

It has been reported that Mendes wants the English youngster to be his client, something that will surely worry Spurs fans.
Mendes is one of the most well-known and most powerful agents in the world. Among his clients are Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi.
While many Tottenham fans will be worried that signing with such a powerful figure could see Alli leave the North London club for a bigger team, Derby County striker Darren Bent has pointed out the presence of Daniel Levy.

Tottenham chairman Levy is a very shrewd negotiator and can be tough to deal with, and former Spurs striker Bent, now playing in the Championship with Derby, has suggested that if he wants Alli to be at the club, then he will make sure of that.
Bent told Sky Sports while discussing Alli’s situation: “I don’t think he (manager Mauricio Pochettino) has got anything to worry about because, to be fair, Daniel Levy, I think, he is that block. Even when I was there and players wanted to leave, if it was right for the football club, of course, he would do it.”
“If Daniel Levy wants to keep a player at the club, then he will do it, and as a chairman you have got to respect that,” added Bent.
