Darren Bent has claimed that Lucas Moura is ‘surprisingly good in the air’, as he told Sky Sports during their live coverage of Tottenham’s win against Brentford on Tuesday night.
Moura started the encounter and he helped Spurs progress through to the final of the EFL Cup.
Harry Kane is perhaps Tottenham’s best header of the ball, from an offensive standpoint, whilst Dele Alli has that art in his locker too.
But former Spurs striker Bent also thinks Moura is a surprise package in that department.
“Lucas is surprisingly good in the air,” said Bent. “The amount of times he gets across the front post. He gets up high or gets that early jump.
“He always seems to get his head to the ball.”

It’s been over two years since Spurs paid PSG £23 million [BBC Sport] for the services of Moura.
It has been a mixed bag for the Brazil international, who at times has left his supporters frustrated, but then worked his magic.
But Moura’s hat-trick in the semi-final against Ajax is something that will live long in his memory and the Tottenham supporters memory.
