The Tottenham Hotspur striker has struggled in his first season in North London.

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Darren Anderton has been speaking exclusively to 888sport about the striking options currently available to Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Harry Kane has been in sensational form again this season, scoring 27 goals in 35 appearances, while midfielder Dele Alli has filled his boots with 21 of his own, but the former is the only Spurs striker to have done his job on a consistent basis and Pochettino looks set to dig deep in the upcoming transfer window for a solution.
Speaking about Tottenham’s transfer plans, Anderton told 888sport, “To me getting another striker is a priority, but on the other hand when Tottenham were without Kane this season they actually dealt with it well.
“It’s probably fair to say that the manager doesn’t trust (Vincent) Janssen a hundred per cent in the fact that he played without a centre forward when Harry wasn’t available and for me you need two top class strikers.”

Janssen arrived at White Hart Lane last summer after finishing the previous season as the top scorer in the Netherlands, with 32 goals for AZ Alkmaar. But with just six goals to date for Tottenham, it is clear he has work to do to ensure he has a long-term future at the club.
Tottenham continue to fight for the Premier League title, although a win for Chelsea against West Bromwich Albion later this week will end their prospects for this year.
