Former Tottenham star said display was Pochettino’s side’s worst of 2016/17.
Tottenham Hotspur dropped their first points since early December this past weekend, with a winning streak coming to an end.
Unlike their previous trip to Manchester which ended with a 1-0 loss at Old Trafford, fortune was with Spurs as they fought back to claim a draw against City.

Former Tottenham player Darren Anderton was not impressed with their performance in the 2-2 draw, but admired the character which saw them come back from two goals down at the Etihad.
Anderton had earlier criticised Tottenham’s casual play at the back, observing that it was asking for trouble.
A defeat for Tottenham would have brought Manchester City level on points with them, but instead they kept a three points lead over Pochettino’s side.

Unfortunately that was pretty much where the good news ended, with rivals Arsenal sneaking a win over Burnley to leapfrog back into second place, and Chelsea predictably extending their lead at the top of the table.
The Blues beat Hull City 2-0 and now have an eight point lead at the top of the Premier League, nine ahead of Tottenham.
