Darren Anderton has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Christian Eriksen’s performance for Tottenham Hotspur against Aston Villa on Saturday evening.

Eriksen did not start the Premier League game for Tottenham against Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but the Denmark international attacking midfielder came on as a substitute in the 64th minute.

The 27-year-old made an instant impact for Spurs and added more creativity to the team, as Spurs came from a goal down to beat Villa 3-1.

According to WhoScored, the Dane took two shots, had a pass accuracy of 73.2%, and put in one cross.

Former Spurs star Anderton has urged the North London outfit on Twitter to do whatever they can to keep Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next season.

Tottenham Hotspur stay

Eriksen is one of the best and most creative players in Europe, and Tottenham are a much better team with him in it.

With the transfer window in mainland Europe still open, Spurs could get offers for the former Ajax star, and it is imperative for the North London outfit that they keep hold of the Dane.
