Spurs have enjoyed their best ever start to a Premier League season.

Darren Anderton has told LoveSport Radio that he believes Tottenham Hotspur have their best ever chance of winning silverware this season – and reckons players will never be more attracted to the club than right now.
Spurs are currently in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup, while sitting third in the Premier League table after their best ever start to a domestic campaign. Wednesday night’s win over Inter Milan kept their Champions League hopes alive.
They begin their FA Cup campaign in January, with pundits and fans alike suggesting that Mauricio Pochettino will turn himself from a great manager into a Spurs icon if he can finally win a trophy.
Spurs are trophyless under the Argentine, with their last triumph coming in 2008 in the form of the League Cup. But ex-Spurs midfielder Anderton reckons that decade-long run could come to an end next year.
“I think it is [Spurs’ best chance of winning silverware],” Anderton said. “It’s never easy, is it. We’re certainly going in the right direction. It’s great to see.
“I can’t wait to get to the new stadium, who knows where we can go from there. If I was anyone else, another player, Tottenham would be a club I’d love to come and join.”

Spurs have won 10 of their 13 Premier League games, losing twice to the top two as well suffering a 2-1 defeat to Watford. Liverpool sit two points higher than Spurs, while City are five clear of Pochettino’s men.
There is a glimmer of hope in the Champions League, though Europa League knockout football after Christmas is much more likely for Spurs. They also face Arsenal in the last eight of the Carabao Cup, on December 19.
