Tottenham Hotspur returned to winning ways at the weekend. The North London outfit got the better of Fulham 3-0 away from home in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.

England international striker Harry Kane was the star of the show for Spurs, as he scored all three goals at Craven Cottage. Tottenham headed into the tie against their London rivals as favourites and deservedly won the tie.

One factor that helped Tottenham win against Fulham was the strong team. Manager Mauricio Pochettino included Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Kane in the starting lineup.

Former Tottenham attacker Darren Anderton has praised Pochettino on Twitter for not fielding his fringe players.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, visitors Tottenham had 61% of the possession, took 23 shots of which seven were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors will return to action on Thursday evening when they take on KAA Gent at the Wembley Stadium in London in the second leg of the Europa League round of 32 tie.
