Rangers have already signed one striker this summer, but Jonson Clarke-Harris is another name being linked with the Gers.

Fashion Sakala has arrived on a free transfer from Oostende, joining Alfredo Morelos, Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe in the striking department.

In March, the Bristol Post reported that Rangers had been scouting Peterborough United hitman Clarke-Harris ahead of a possible move.

They saw Clarke-Harris smash a hat-trick against Accrington Stanley, and he could bring something different to the Rangers attack.

He’s tall and rangy at 6ft tall, possessing strength and pace whilst having a dangerous left foot.

Clarke-Harris turns 27 next month, and whilst it’s unclear just how much Rangers would pay for him, he did just score 33 goals for Peterborough.

A £5million demand was reported at the time, but Posh owner Darragh MacAnthony has indicated that Clarke-Harris could end up staying despite those Rangers links.

When asked by a fan whether Clarke-Harris is staying, MacAnthony replied stating ‘why not’, highlighting that his contract runs until 2024 – meaning Rangers would have to pay up.
