Sheffield United were heavily linked with Maddison over the summer, as reported by HITC, but no move materialised.
It seemed that Championship sides had some doubts over signing Maddison, but the winger has been in brilliant form of late.
Maddison has provided seven assists and scored two goals in his last seven Posh appearances, with Sheffield United fans taking note of his improving displays.
And when asked how much he would be looking at for the winger, MacAnthony responded with a joke.
Maddison could be an exciting addition to the Blades attack, as they go for promotion in the Championship.
The Posh wide-man has proven that he is one of the finest talents in League One over a number of seasons, and appears to be ready to make the step up to the second tier.
