Leeds United reportedly want to sign Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are aiming to take Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White on loan.
The Whites need defensive reinforcements, and another central defender should be a priority to offer depth alongside Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper and Gaetano Berardi.
Now, Brighton youngster White looks to be a top target, with a loan move for the 21-year-old potentially in the works this summer.
White has come up through the Brighton ranks, and after impressing on loan at Newport County, he spent 2019 out on loan at League One side Peterborough United.
White scored once in 16 games, impressing Peterborough fans with his performances before heading back to Brighton at the end of his loan spell.

First-team football with the Seagulls looks unlikely, and a loan move to Leeds would be the next step in his development having caught the eye in League One with the Posh.
Now, Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony has taken to Twitter to react to the rumour, hailing White as a fine player and a great lad off the pitch, and whilst he’s unsure whether he’s ready to be playing for a top Championship side, he thinks he has all the attributes to be a star.
“Great lad, good in dressing room,” said MacAnthony. “Has s**t loads of talent. Cant guarantee he is ready for top of the championship but would love to see him do well. Has all attributes to be top class CB,” he added.
