Leeds United youngster Tyler Denton joined Peterborough United on loan during the summer, but did not enjoy the best spell.

Darragh MacAnthony has told a Leeds supporter on Twitter that Peterborough have no plans to sign another Whites youngster on loan this summer, but heaped praise on the Championship club and director of football Victor Orta.
Posh signed Tyler Denton on loan from Leeds last summer. The 23-year-old had seemingly lost his way at Thorp Arch, having not made a single first-team appearance since Garry Monk’s tenure when he got three chances in the two cup competitions.
Unfortunately for all parties, his spell at London Road proved to be a disappointment. He made just 10 league appearances in League One, and only appeared sporadically following the turn of the year.
Despite Denton’s move failing to work out, you would have imagined that Leeds may be one of the sides that Peterborough look to should they decide to loan youngsters this summer.

The Whites’ under-23 side have enjoyed a fantastic campaign and there are a number of players that look destined for first-team football at Elland Road. But MacAnthony’s response to a Leeds supporter on Twitter indicated that they will not be reaching out to the Championship side this summer…
After MacAnthony’s praise for the club, the same fan responded wanting to know more about Denton’s switch and who at Leeds was involved in the discussions.
